Description: 
'Bernice' Isn't the smallest of Bellflowers, there are ground cover types, but for the upright ones she's a nice small size. A low clump of green foliage produces a dense mass of slender stems covered in beautiful double mauve - purple bell shaped flowers from early summer.

Up to 0.60 m 
Spread: 
Up to 0.45 m 
Position: 
Full sun or partial shade in any reasonably well drained fertile soil. Perfect for herbaceous borders as early height and colour as well as containers and wildlife gardens.
Care: 
Water well to establish. Remove finished flower stems to prolong flowering.
